Pay Structure: Pay – Competitive with experience with earning potential more than $65,000/year
General Summary
Apply to join an amazing staff and facility that was named USTA Northern Facility of the Year, has two coaches on staff previously named section Pros of the Year and has multiple junior players ranked top-100 nationally. Match Pointe is a beautiful 10-court indoor facility. This is an amazing opportunity to join a fun hard-working staff that loves the game and developing players. Joining our staff will also give you the opportunity to help organize and run a professional men’s tournament.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Tennis Programming
1. Develop and administer safe, professional, and comprehensive tennis lessons, clinics, private lessons, adult, junior and senior programs that will encourage involvement.
2. Assist with adult league coordination and scheduling.
3. Help run and organize tournaments and socials.
4. Coordinate court bookings to include: private/group lessons, junior and adult programs, permanent court time, team matches, and all other on court activities.
5. Assist with Pro Shop management and stringing.
6. Pickleball experience preferred but not mandatory.
Financial & Budgetary
1. Coordinates court bookings to include: private/group lessons, junior and adult programs, permanent court time, team matches, and all other on court activities.
2. In coordination with the Executive Director, help develop the budget for the tennis department. Takes action as necessary to help ensure that budget goals are met.
Member Experience
1. Respond to all patron inquiries, comments, and questions in a timely and respectful manner.
2. Maintain all tennis equipment in good working condition and ensure tennis courts are clean.
3. Ensure that all equipment is properly stored, and that the storeroom remains clean and organized.
Communication
1. Support and articulate the mission statement.
2. Coordinates tennis program information on the website and social media as needed.
3. Respond to all lesson and programming inquiries in a timely manner.
Certifications
1. Must possess a thorough knowledge of the game of tennis and have effective teaching skills, including certification through either USPTA or PTR, and maintain certification through the length of employment.
2. Have a player NTRP rating of at least 4. 0.
3. Must be USTA Net Generation certified.
4. Be AED and CPR certified within 60 days of hire.

3. Possess excellent organizational and priority management skills.

Technical Skills
1. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
2. Knowledge of USTA Serve Tennis software
Physical Demands
1. Must be able to teach at least 38 hours per week.
2. Must be able to stand and be active for long periods of time and be active teaching lessons.
