Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach, Virginia is seeking an ambitious, personable, motivated staff tennis professional with a minimum of five years of teaching experience to join its team-oriented teaching staff. This person must be well-versed in group instruction, developing both adult and junior players and possibly taking over our pickleball program. Having experience coaching men’s and women’s USTA teams of 2.5 to 4.0 ability is a definite plus. Having experience conducting Cardio Tennis classes is a definite plus. Being certified in either USPTA or PTR is a requirement as is having played college tennis and have an NTRP rating of 4.5 or above. Duties include running league teams, ladders, tournaments, adult and junior programs, teaching groups and private lessons for both adults and juniors in both tennis and pickleball. This is an immediately available position perfectly suited for a go getter who is willing to teach a minimum of 35 to 55 hours weekly and be available to teach evenings and weekends. This position will work directly with the tennis director as well as a Head Professional and 3 staff professionals. The Club is member owned and sits directly across the street from the Atlantic Ocean, in addition to its 18 hole golf course, it has seven lighted outdoor clay courts, four climate-controlled indoor hard courts, and a 3 clay court bubble in the winter months.
